Horses Trade Fair

Horses 2020 trade fair will be postponed to April 2021

News  26.05.2020

The biggest Horses Trade Fair in Finland will be organize next time at 10.‒11.4.2021 in Tampere Exhibition and Sports Center. The Horses Fair was originally scheduled to take place in April 2020. Because of the situation and limitations of coronavirus, first a new date was found for the event in August 2020. Due to the current situation the Horses Trade Fair is decided to postpone to next year 2021.

Accordning to the event`s project manager Heli Lempinen, the decicion was made by listening the exhibitors and experts of the field. The event`s exhibition committee, a group of experts in the Horses field stated that August is coming too soon and the event is better to postpone to next year.

The official main partner of the Horses Fair, Heikki Kankainen from Hankkija Oy understands the reasons for postponing the fair.

‒ From the exhibitors point of view postponing the fair is a reasonable solution. At the spring time Horses fair will be organized just before the horses grazing and summer seasons. The timing in April will set trade fair visitors interest in the products and it will significantly boost sales.

The aim is to transfer the 2020 theme, ready-made program contents and partners to the Horses Trade Fair at April 2021. Project manager Heli Lempinen is convinced that after a long wait, the horse industry`s favorite event will also see new and unpublished content.

‒ We will continue to develop the fair throughout the autumn and winter. Hopefully this expectation will turn into a positive opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of the fair, meeting each other and diverse program content again in the spring 2021, says Lempinen.
